Assisi B.V., based in Oosterhout (Chamber of Commerce no. 22043638), was declared bankrupt by the District Court of Breda on Thursday, 9 April 2026. L. Bijlsma has been appointed as trustee in bankruptcy. The supervising supervisory judge of the court is Ms. mr. M.D.E. Leppens.

Our Corporate Structure Team is working to keep everything on track and to limit the economic damage as much as possible. In the immediate aftermath of a bankruptcy, everything happens at once. Many matters are urgent and a great many interests are involved. However, we cannot give everything the attention it deserves straight away. We therefore apologise if we respond later than usual or are difficult to reach. We are doing our best.

• Assisi B.V. operates as franchisor of the franchise formula known under the name Oil & Vinegar.
• The direct effects of the bankruptcy (as part of the estate) apply only to the three stores owned by Assisi B.V., namely those in Breda, Amstelveen and The Hague. These are currently closed.
• The other Oil & Vinegar stores operated by franchisees are independent and are not directly affected by the bankruptcy.
• Assisi B.V. employs approximately 47 people.
• The possibilities for a restart are currently being investigated. In that context, several interested parties have already come forward.
